Why should I join NSSLHA?

NSSLHA is the only national student organization for pre-professionals studying communication Sciences and Disorders recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). And the only COMD club on campus!

NSSLHA is an organization that is dedicated to undergraduate students willing to pursue in respective careers such as speech language pathology and audiology. The organization is specifically meant for gaining opportunities and experience with the major, Communication Sciences and Disorders, and what you can do with this major later as you consider applying to graduate school.

On top of all that it allows you to connect and network with SLPs, SLPAs, audiologists outside of UH in the field. We volunteer at many Houston organizations such as HARC (Houston aphasia recovery clinic) PM PALS and many more that allow us to network and make connections.
